This video first shows you how to make boat shaped tarts. We first make an easy pastry dough. Keep half for the base for the boats and the other half in the freezer for the lids for about 20 to 30 minutes.
You then learn the secret technique of how to prepare your boat shaped tarts. Then we will demonstrate the trick of cutting out the lids correctly. Once the boats and the lids are ready, we’ll bake them in the oven.
After the boats have cooled down, we will remove them from the tins very carefully and pipe out delicious chocolate truffle on the base of the boats. Let’s cover the lids with some truffle too and decorate the top with a gorgeous design with melted white chocolate.
